Only one game was played Thursday night as the Nashville Predators and the Anaheim Ducks clashed in a crazy game four. The Ducks evened the series at two games apiece with a 3-2 win in overtime.

Could the Leafs Be After a Bruin?
When Toronto acquired Brian Boyle from Tampa Bay at the trade deadline in hopes he would provide some solid grit on the fourth line. They have plans of moving Frederik Gauthier up to that fourth line from the AHL, but there could be another option. Dominic Moore is a fairly inexpensive player and can provide the grit needed but also score clutch goals when needed. (Editor In Leaf)

Leafs Sign Two Swedish Defenseman
The news of Toronto pursuing a couple of Swedish defensemen has gone around for quite awhile now, and while all the news was about the combination of Calle Rosen and Philip Holm it seems the Leafs made a different combo. The Leafs ended up landing Calle Rosen but they went off the board and signed 21-year-old Andreas Borgman as well. (Tip Of The Tower)
Chicago Affiliate Gets New Head Coach
Right after the Blackhawks were eliminated from the playoffs general manager Stan Bowman made his first move when he fired Rockford coach Ted Dent. And since then Chicago has been looking for a replacement, and they have found one. They signed former NHLer Jeremy Colliton, he’s played in a few leagues from 2001 to 2014, and in his first coaching stint in the Swedish Elite League, he posted a record of 35-4-13. (Blackhawk Up)
The St. Louis Blues Now Have to Share Their AHL Affiliate
When news came in that the Vegas Golden Knights signed a deal to have the Chicago Wolves as an AHL affiliate, the Blues were kind of displeased. The worst part about this move is the fact both organizations now have to share the team and when you have prospects from both teams on one team, there is a solid chance they will report back with scouting reports. Islanders Land New Assistant Coach
It’s been known for quite awhile that the New York Islanders would be looking for a new assistant coach to help head coach Doug Weight. And they finally found one when they hired ex-NHLer Luke Richardson. Richardson played 1,417 games in the NHL through 21 seasons. He brings a lot of experience to the team behind the bench since he was the head coach of the Binghamton Senators of the AHL. (Eyes On Isles)
