Ranked number 1 in the world, Sweden’s national men’s ice hockey team has been in its greatest form the past few years. They won the 2012 World Juniors for the first time since 1981 and won the gold medal in the 2006 Olympics. On top of that, the 2011-12 Vezina, Norris, and Calder Awards were all won by Swedes.
