Top 50 players in fantasy hockey

Just like my standings predictions, my top 50 players in fantasy hockey are completely meaningless and will likely result in certain fans wondering what psychiatric ward I escaped from, but where’s the fun in trying to make everyone agree?

A quick explanation about how I came up with these rankings: I used a combination of a weighted system that takes into account the last four seasons of a player and how I think a given team will do. I typically will rank a player who’s been productive for multiple seasons higher than a “one-year wonder”.

Still, there are some players who were so good last season that it’s hard to ignore, like Tyler Seguin for example. Injuries also played a role, especially in the case of players coming off surgeries that will cause them to miss part or all of training camp like Ben Bishop.

Without further delay, here is my personal draft board, in hopes that those of you who are in leagues against me think I’m completely wrong!
