Hockey World Cup Final Roster Predictions: 7 Spots to Fill for 8 Teams on June 1st
Returning in September 2016, the Hockey World Cup (World Cup of Hockey) will take place in Toronto, Ontario.
As we now pass the halfway mark of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, we near closer to the NHL/IIHF joint held event (played with NHL rules).

A few players on the final four teams battling for the Cup are still vying for WC Roster Spots, while others are battling it out across the pond in Russia at the IIHF World Hockey Championships.
Hockey World Cup’s initial 16-man rosters were revealed back on March 2nd. Among the surprises in the original announcement were the inclusion of Jeff Carter on Team Canada, and exclusion of both John Klingberg (Team Sweden) and Phil Kessel (Team USA).
Teams still have seven spots to fill on their roster, with the final announcement scheduled for June 1st.
