NHL Daily Morning Rant

The Jarome Iginla story was very intriguing and definitely worth a read if you missed it.

With the increased focus on things such as health, nutrition, and fitness over the past couple of decades, you have to wonder whether we’ll see more guys playing into their 40s. Of course, Jaromir Jagr-type longevity might be a stretch, but as long as they can keep up with the speed of play, age is merely a number.

There’s nothing to suggest that Iginla is ready to hang up the skates. We call his 2015-16 a disappointment in comparison to previous years, but 22 goals is still a decent haul. Don’t be surprised if he returns to that 30-goal plateau in 2016-17.
