Caps D Madison Bowey Scores PP Goal in Preseason Opener

More from Puck Prose

Many in the hockey world expect Capitals defensive prospect Madison Bowey to make the jump to the NHL in 2016-17. Known for his offensive prowess, Bowey is a power play specialist. He didn’t see much time on the man advantage with Hershey as a rookie in 2015-16, but could give the Caps PP a major boost in coming years.

He played on the top pairing with Brooks Orpik in Washington’s preseason opener and scored on the power play en route to a 2-1 victory. [Washington Post]
