NHL Daily Morning Rant
Now that we’re eight days into the new season, I’d like to take a moment to highlight certain veteran players off to hot starts. The reason I want to do this is because a solid 2016-17 campaign could put Las Vegas GM George McPhee on notice. Here are five players to keep an eye on:
1. G Jimmy Howard, Detroit Red Wings
2. F Matt Moulson, Buffalo Sabres
3. F Thomas Vanek, Detroit Red Wings
4. F Lee Stempniak, Carolina Hurricanes
5. F David Desharnais, Montreal Canadiens
