The 67’s Held Nothing Back Against A Very Talented Generals Team.

With Oshawa sitting third place in the Eastern Conference and Ottawa sitting sixth you would assume the powerful Generals would have handed it to Ottawa. Well, the shoe appeared on the other foot when the 67’s won the game by a whopping score of 7-0. Scoring was lead by Artur Tyanulin who had himself a four-point night and Mathieu Foget who had himself a five point night.

Kelowna Showed Vancouver Why They Are in The Playoffs and Why the Giants Are Not.

Kelowna being in the playoffs is no surprise, they have a tremendously talented team and a very solid goalie. Vancouver, on the other hand, is sitting well outside the playoff picture and Kelowna showed us why when they handed the Giants an 8-1 loss. Scoring was carried by James Hilsendager who had three points, Dillon Dube who had three points and Calvin Thurkauf who also had three points for the Rockets.

2nd Place Medicine Hat took it to the 10th Place Edmonton Oil Kings.

Upsets are great in hockey, and when they’re so close to the playoffs make them that much better. However, that didn’t happen last night when Medicine Hat absolutely thrashed Edmonton by a score of 9-3. Scoring for the Hat’s was lead by Matt Bradley with a three-goal game as well as Zach Fischer, Steven Owre had a three assist night as well as Mason Shaw, and then both David Quennville and Chad Butcher each had one goal and two assists.

Saint John Showed Charlottetown Exactly Why They Are Ranked Number One in the CHL.

The QMJHL has just one conference that means there are 18 teams fighting it out for playoff positions and with Saint John sitting number one in the league and the entire CHL they showed fourth place Charlottetown exactly why they are where they are. The Sea Dogs handed the Islanders a 5-1 loss with scoring being carried by Mathieu Joseph who had a three-point night.
