Here’s how you can watch the 2018 NHL Stadium Series on television and online via live stream.
The 2018 NHL Stadium Series will be held on Saturday, March 3. It will be held at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis, Maryland. The game will feature a rematch of a first-round series of the 2016-17 Stanley Cup Playoffs, as the Washington Capitals will host the Toronto Maple Leafs.
One of the biggest stars in the NHL will not be participating. Auston Matthews of the Maple Leafs has an injury and has already been ruled out. This is a huge loss, as the NHL wisely chose to market this game around Ovechkin and the 2016 first overall pick. Both are outstanding goal scorers and carry their teams to great heights.

The Capitals come into this game on top of the Metropolitan Division. They’ve faced some rough waters recently, but thanks to Ovechkin, Evgeny Kuznetsov, and Nicklas Backstrom, they’re back on track. Goaltender Braden Holtby will get the start in goal despite having a bit of a slump recently.
Meanwhile, the Leafs have lost two straight games in overtime. Still, they enter having gotten at least one point in nine of their last 10 games (7-1-2 record). The Leafs’ +33 goal differential ranks third in the Eastern Conference.
Both teams are looking to get a huge win as they continue to push for the postseason. This will be the Capitals’ third outdoor game, and the second they have hosted. The Leafs will be playing in an outdoor game after getting the NHL Centennial Classic in 2017.
