Here’s all the information you need to watch Game 1 of the NHL Playoffs 2018 between the Vegas Golden Knights and LA Kings
Wednesday, April 11 marks the beginning of the NHL Playoffs 2018. A tripleheader on Wednesday night will kick things off with a bang. The final of the trio of games will be a late night battle between the Vegas Golden Knights and the LA Kings.
These two teams know each other quite well. Yes, Vegas is the NHL’s newest team and they’ve only been around for a year. But already, the two sides have had some emotional, hate-filled brawls. This could help the rivalry between the Knights and Kings to become one of the best in the league.

Vegas is looking to continue the best season an expansion team has ever had. They won the Pacific Division, becoming the first expansion team to make the Stanley Cup Playoffs in the modern era. They’ve been nearly unbeatable at home, so expect the crowd in Vegas to be pumped up and ready.
The Knights are led by goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury. He has the most postseason experience of anyone on the team. Fleury helped the Pittsburgh Penguins win three Stanley Cups. Now he’ll hope to give Vegas one. William Karlsson, Jonathan Marchessault, and Reilly Smith form one of the NHL’s top forward lines.
On the other side of the ice, the LA Kings are no strangers to the postseason. After all, they’ve won two Stanley Cups. Anze Kopitar captains the Kings, who finished in the first wild-card spot in the Western Conference. After a disappointing first season as their leader, he’s a Selke, Lady Byng, and Hart Trophy candidate. Jeff Carter is entering the playoffs red-hot.
The Kings are an experienced group who are quite capable of pulling off a very unlikely upset. It’s worth noting LA won the season series against the Knights.
