Here’s how you can watch the NHL Playoffs 2018 matchup between the Tampa Bay Lightning and New Jersey Devils on Thursday, April 12 starting at 7:00 p.m. ET.

The NHL Playoffs 2018 are officially underway. Wednesday night saw three games, two of which were exciting. One of the more intriguing games on Thursday, April 11 start at 7:00 p.m. ET. That’s when the Tampa Bay Lightning start their first-round series against the New Jersey Devils. This game will be held at Amalie Arena in Tampa.

Tampa enters this series as the Atlantic Division champions. They were consistently dominant throughout the regular season, only losing three games in a row on two occasions. This should suit them well in a seven-game series. When Tampa has a bad game, they often follow it with at least one very good one, if not two.

Meanwhile, New Jersey won the season series against Tampa, so they’re obviously a bit of a tough matchup for them. They’ll be going with Keith Kinkaid in goal. He had an outstanding month of March, helping to push the Devils into the Stanley Cup Playoffs. However, Kinkaid will have his hands full against a very deep Tampa Bay team.

The Lightning are led by Nikita Kucherov, Steven Stamkos, Brayden Point, and Victor Hedman. They’ll be going with Andrei Vasilevskiy in net. He was outstanding in the first half, but poor in the second half. Perhaps the rest before the series will help Vasilevskiy find his game again. New Jersey is led by Hart Trophy candidate Taylor Hall and Calder Trophy candidate Nico Hischier.
