After shocking the Tampa Bay Lightning in Game 1, the Columbus Blue Jackets look to deal another huge blow to their Stanley Cup chances during Game 2 on Friday starting at 7:00 p.m. EST. Here’s how you can watch.
The Tampa Bay Lightning will host the Columbus Blue Jackets at Amalie Arena in Game 2 of the first-round series in the 2019 Stanley Cup Playoffs. Start time will be at 7:00 p.m. EST. This game can be viewed on CNBC nationally in the United States. In Canada, you can turn to Sportsnet360 and TVA Sports. Additionally, for local coverage, you can turn to Fox Sports Sun in Tampa and Fox Sports Ohio.
Game 1 was by far the most exciting of any game thus far in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. As expected, Tampa came out strong, taking a 3-0 lead in the first 20 minutes. However, Columbus made a triumphant comeback. Led by three third-period goals, including the game-winner by defenseman Seth Jones, the Jackets took a surprising 1-0 lead in the series.

Tampa is still the favorite to win their series, but now they’re behind the eight-ball. Columbus has a ton of confidence after their comeback and the Jackets, as the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference, have nothing to lose. The pressure is on the Lightning now.
In Game 1, Tampa’s stars were held off the scoresheet. Steven Stamkos, Nikita Kucherov, Brayden Point, and Victor Hedman combined for zero points. If this happens again in Game 2, they could be in deep trouble. On the bright side, at least Anthony Cirelli’s line came to play, as they generated two of Tampa’s three goals.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the ice, the Blue Jackets shocked the Lightning in Game 1 and they’ll hope to repeat that in Game 2. After allowing three first period goals, goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky was perfect for the final 40 minutes.

There’s a lot on the line for both teams. The Lightning are looking to complete a dream season and break the Presidents’ Trophy curse. Meanwhile, the Blue Jackets are under pressure because they mortgaged a good portion of their future at the trade deadline.
