Facing a 2-0 deficit in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, the Pittsburgh Penguins hope a return to PPG Paints Arena will give them a boost in their series against the New York Islanders. Here’s how you can watch Sunday’s Game 3 via live stream.
The Pittsburgh Penguins find themselves looking for answers. Down 2-0 to the New York Islanders, they’re looking to avoid their first first-round exit in the Stanley Cup Playoffs since the 2014-15 season. On Sunday, April 14, starting at 12 noon EST, the Pens host the Isles at PPG Paints Arena in what should be a critical Game 3. You can view this game on NBC, CBC, Sportsnet, TVAS.
Game 2 saw the Penguins get away from their skill game. The series got a bit chippy, which is a style that benefits the Islanders more than the Pens. Pittsburgh is hoping a return home will help them shift the series back in their direction.

Sidney Crosby has been invisible thus far, which has been surprising. He has yet to record a point in the series through the first two games. Also, Crosby has more hits than shots on goal so far. For someone like him, that’s not a recipe for success.
The Pens are hoping to get forward Jared McCann back today after he missed Game 2 due to an injury. Goaltender Matt Murray will be key for them, as he must find a way to match what Robin Lehner’s doing for the Isles. Either that or the Pens have to solve Lehner.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the ice, the Islanders are in a great position. They say it’s not a series until a road team wins. Well, the Isles are hoping to make this a series. A win in Game 3 would put them up 3-0 against the Pens.
They’re led by Jordan Eberle, who has been fantastic in just his second season in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. His initial appearance, which came with the Edmonton Oilers, didn’t go too well. But he’s leading the way against the Pens. Lehner is building on what has already been a magical season for him.
