It has been a long time since the Carolina Hurricanes have experienced playoff hockey. To be exact, it has been almost 10 years since. The team and fans are ready to see the Canes in the playoffs more often.
This season, the Hurricanes were the top-seeded wild card team to make the playoffs. Needless to say, they almost didn’t make the playoffs initially.
However, they proved to the rest of the league that they were ready for playoff hockey by making it all the way to the Eastern Conference Final. This is quite an achievement for a team with a new coach, new management, and not making the playoffs for a decade.

It will not be a surprise to see the Canes in future playoff runs. They truly possess the capabilities of being a strong Stanley Cup contending team.
With dynamic players, enterprising management, effective coaching, and a dedicated fan base, the future looks very promising for the Carolina Hurricanes.
