Vegas Golden Knights news: Ryan Reaves re-signs for 2 more years
Ryan Reaves is sticking around with the Vegas Golden Knights for at least the next two seasons.
The Vegas Golden Knights announced today that Ryan Reaves has agreed to terms on a new two-year contract with an annual average value of $1.75 million per season.
Reaves, or better known as Reavo, finished the season with eight goals and seven assists for 15 points while leading the league with 316 hits in 71 games. During his time in Vegas, he has 37 points (17 goals, 20 assists) in three seasons with the Golden Knights. He was traded to Vegas from the Pittsburgh back on February 26, 2018.

Originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba he was brought in to play on either the 3rd or 4th line and to add some toughness and sandpaper to a speedy high octane team. This is a great move for the Vegas Golden Knights as I feel every team needs that enforcer type player to protect your superstars and even chip in some offense.
He has been quite the character and has fit in nicely in the Vegas culture. Reaves even took to Twitter to show his excitement about staying in Vegas. He mentions he hasn’t won a Stanley Cup or win a scoring title. He says he can still win a cup but that scoring title might be out of reach.
He has been quite the fan-favorite and whenever a fight breaks out you can always count on Reaves getting involved and adding that spice to the fire which is an NHL scrum. He has also adapted to life in Vegas super well as he also started a business venture which is a brewing company called 75 Brewing which is based in Las Vegas.
I have a feeling we will be seeing Ryan Reaves in Vegas for a very long time and I potentially see a deal where he could finish his career in Sin City.
