The dates have been set for the first part of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
It’s official. Hockey is planned to get back underway starting on August 1. That’s when the Stanley Cup Playoffs will start with the play-in round and the round-robin tournament for the top four teams in each conference.
Times haven’t been announced yet, but here are the dates for each of the series. Just as a reminder, the Eastern Conference games will be held at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto and the Western Conference games will be held at Rogers Place in Edmonton.

Also, the higher seed is the team on the left. They will be the “home” team for Games 1, 2, and 5. The lower seed will be the home team for Games 3 and 4.
