Here’s everything you need to know to watch Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs series between the Nashville Predators and Arizona Coyotes.
The Stanley Cup Playoffs are officially underway. Saturday saw a ton of drama, excitement, and surprises and Sunday’s shaping up for more of the same. Kicking off the full slate of games at 2:00 p.m. EST will be the Arizona Coyotes and the Nashville Predators.
Though the game will be held in Edmonton, like the rest of the Western Conference play-in round games, Nashville will be listed as the home team by virtue of having the better regular-season record of the two teams. This means they’ll have the last change, which helps in matching up lines and pairings.

NASHVILLE PREDATORS
The Predators started this season off strong, but got weaker as the season went on. They’re led by Filip Forsberg and Matt Duchene as far as forwards. And on defense, they’re led by Norris Trophy finalist Roman Josi and Ryan Ellis.
It has yet to be confirmed who will start in goal for the Predators, but it will be either Pekka Rinne or Juuse Saros. The latter is expected to start, as he posted better numbers during the regular season and looked impressive in an exhibition game against the Dallas Stars.
ARIZONA COYOTES
For the first time since the 2011-12 season, the Arizona Coyotes are in the postseason. Offensively, they’re led by Taylor Hall, Phil Kessel, and Nick Schmaltz, as well as Clayton Keller. Defensively, the Yotes are led by Oliver Ekman-Larsson and Jakob Chychrun.
Much like the Preds, the Coyotes have yet to announce their starting goalie. It will either be Darcy Kuemper or Antti Raanta. The former is expected to start.
