Stanley Cup Playoffs: Washington Capitals vs. Philadelphia Flyers start time, live stream, TV schedule
The Washington Capitals and Philadelphia Flyers square off in a pivotal round-robin game in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
On Aug. 6, starting at 4:00 p.m. EST, the Washington Capitals and Philadelphia Flyers will square off in the second game of the Stanley Cup Playoffs for each team. This game should help decide the seeding for the rest of the postseason, as the former has one point while the latter has two.
Both teams are looking to get better seeding in the postseason, so expect both teams to be very active today. Philadelphia will be the home team today despite finishing with a lesser record than Washington, which should give them an edge as far as line changes.

INJURIES
WASHINGTON CAPITALS
Norris Trophy finalist John Carlson will be a game-time decision. He suffered an injury against the Carolina Hurricanes during an exhibition game and did not play against the Tampa Bay Lightning in the Capitals’ first round-robin game. Also, center Lars Eller will not be playing, as he has left the bubble to be with his wife for the birth of their child. Travis Boyd will replace him in the lineup.
PHILADELPHIA FLYERS
Nolan Patrick is out and will not be playing. Nor will Oscar Lindblom, though the latter could return if the Flyers are still playing in September.
