Stanley Cup Playoffs: Montreal Canadiens vs. Philadelphia Flyers Game 2 start time, live stream, TV schedule, odds
Can the Montreal Canadiens win Game 2 of their Stanley Cup Playoffs series with the Philadelphia Flyers without Claude Julien?
In Game 1 of their Stanley Cup Playoffs series, the Philadelphia Flyers pulled out a 2-1 win over the Montreal Canadiens. It wasn’t as pretty as expected, but Joel Farabee’s second-period goal, which came seconds after Shea Weber tied the game, proved to be the game-winner. In Game 2, the Flyers will try to extend their series lead to 2-0 while the Canadiens will try to even up the series.
Montreal will be playing today without their head coach Claude Julien, who was sent to the hospital after complaining of chest pains. He has been released from the hospital and has returned to Montreal to rest. Our thoughts are with him and we’re glad it appears he’s going to be OK.
Replacing Julien behind the bench will be Kirk Muller, who is the Canadiens’ associate head coach. He’ll be getting some help from Montreal’s other assistant coaches, but Muller will be taking the lead.

INJURIES
The Flyers will be without forward Oskar Lindblom, who is in the process of getting himself back into shape after overcoming cancer. It’s incredible he’s gotten this far and he’s nearly ready to start returning to practices. I don’t think we’ll see him in the playoffs since his cancer treatments make him extremely susceptible to the coronavirus, but it’s good to see him working out.
As I mentioned before, the Canadiens will be sans Claude Julien, and we sent him our warmest regards.
