The Vegas Golden Knights look to put the Chicago Blackhawks on the brink of elimination with a win.

The Vegas Golden Knights and the Chicago Blackhawks meet in Game 3 tonight at Rogers Place in Edmonton and the Knights have a chance to go up 3-0 in the series. The Blackhawks will be the home team for Games 3 and 4 and will have last change so we will have to see if Pete Deboer makes any changes to the lineup.

The Knights won game 2 in overtime beating the Hawks 4-3 after blowing a 2-0 lead. Robin Lehner once again got the start in goal and it looks like he will be the number one goaltender for the time being. Max Pacioretty missed game 2 as he was declared unfit to play so it remains to be seen if he will play tonight or not.

Reilly Smith is currently leading the team with 3 goals and 2 assists in 2 games which is quite impressive. We should find out lineup changes closer to puck drop but assume Robin Lehner gets the start in net.

Once again the keys to the game will be for the Knights to continue what they are doing which is their speed game while being aggressive on the forecheck and playing well defensively. The game sort of got away from them in Game 2 when they lost the lead and let Chicago come back into the game.

A good thing is that this team is super healthy and continues to use their offensive weapons to win games and Chicago doesn’t seem to be at the same level as Vegas. The Knights have done a good job at shutting down Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane who hasn’t scored in the series yet.
