The Arizona Coyotes will try to even up their series against the Colorado Avalanche on Monday at 5:30 p.m. EST in Game 4 of their series.
Heading into Game 3, the Arizona Coyotes were struggling mightily against the Colorado Avalanche and needed to find a spark. Darcy Kuemper, as he has this postseason, was the one who gave it to them, stopping 49 of the 51 shots he saw to give the Yotes a 4-2 win.
In Game 3, the Coyotes got goals from Derek Stepan, Brad Richardson, Taylor Hall, and Lawson Crouse. The last two were empty-net goals. Hall was credited with the game-winning goal, as Mikko Rantanen made it 3-2 before Crouse’s empty net goal sealed the win.
The Avalanche need to get to Kuemper if they want to have a shot at winning Game 4. Arizona has momentum now and their best players are producing. Could an upset be brewing?

STARTING GOALTENDERS
To the surprise of nobody, Arizona will be sticking with Kuemper. He’s been incredible this postseason for the Coyotes. Meanwhile, it’s not confirmed yet, but the Avalanche are probably going to turn back to Philipp Grubauer in Game 4. Antti Raanta will be Arizona’s backup while Pavel Francouz will back up Grubauer.
