The Carolina Hurricanes look to bounce back from a dreadful Game 4 and extend their season against the Boston Bruins.
Game 4 was a huge turning point in the series between the Boston Bruins and Carolina Hurricanes. Heading into the third period, the Canes had a 2-0 lead. But then the Bruins woke up, scoring four unanswered goals while Carolina could only muster a late goal from Teuvo Teravainen as Boston won 4-3.
It was a very tough loss for the Hurricanes and a momentum-shifting win for the Bruins. Carolina couldn’t close out Boston and they made them pay for it. Now the Hurricanes enter Game 5 with their backs against the wall in a must-win situation.
