The Vegas Golden Knights will have a chance to book a spot in the Western Conference Final with a win tonight against the Vancouver Canucks.

Back to back situations are never easy in hockey, less time to recover from the grueling, physical, and mental game it takes to win a hockey game. The Vegas Golden Knights did it in spades winning Games 3 and 4 against the Vancouver Canucks to put themselves one win away from a spot in the Western Conference Final.

It took three unanswered goals in the third period for the Knights to beat Vancouver in game 4 5-3, Max Pacioretty scored two goals in the win and Marc Andre Fleury made 28 saves including one on Elias Pettersson where he robbed him with his glove. it was save of the year candidate for sure, also game 4 was the first time Vegas had trailed in these playoffs but the team resiliency was on full display.

Mark Stone continues to be a threat on offense while Shea Theodore is pretty much the quarterback of the defense. Pete Deboer can be confident as well that he has two solid netminders in Fleury and Robin Lehner.

Look to see Robin Lehner in the crease again as he continues to be a backbone to this solid Vegas team who has the making of a Stanley Cup contender. The Knights will have to expect a full-on response from the Canucks who head coach Travis Green says they will be ready for.

Once again it will come down to shutting down the likes of Elias Pettersson, JT Miller, Bo Horvat, and a Canucks team that won’t go down without a fight literally. Also making Jacob Markstrom uncomfortable in net also seems to work.
