2020-2021 Draft Outlook

Coyotes have 0 selections in the first three rounds of the draft. Arizona has one pick in each of the 4th through 7th rounds.

Arizona Coyotes summary

New Coyotes General Manager Bill Armstrong will have a tough task ahead of him while shaping this roster for a competitive future. Although Hossa’s money doesn’t count against the cap and only paying partial salaries for Kessel and Demers, Arizona does not have a lot of room to work with their long term contracts.

After the 2020-21 season, Arizona does have a lot of money coming off the books to work with short term. Due to the tampering scandal, they do not own a pick in the first three rounds of next year’s draft also. It will be very interesting to see what moves will be made to shape the roster.
