A team with a rich history and a remarkably steady uniform design. You’ve pretty much got to go back to the 1930’s to see any significant changes. Still, we found a design from recent history we weren’t thrilled with.

The Best: 2020-21 Home

These jerseys have been in use for nearly a century, so you’d be hard pressed to find a more stable design in all of sports, let alone the NHL. It’s the perfect blend of style and old-school charm. It’s iconic.

The Worst: 2014 Winter Classic

The problem with these uniforms – at least in our estimation – is that it feels like it is trying to be retro, as opposed to just feeling retro. A nitpick? Maybe. But when it comes to design, every little thing takes on significant importance.
