The 2021 Stanley Cup Playoffs are upon us.

It is time to rejoice because the greatest time of the year is finally here as the 2021 Stanley Cup Playoffs get underway following what was the strangest and most unique regular season in the long, rich history of the National Hockey League.

More from Puck Prose

Despite the fact that the regular season still actually isn’t over due to the fact that the North Division is ongoing in the wake of the Vancouver Canucks being hit by a mass COVID-19 outbreak, the postseason will begin tonight with the Washington Capitals taking on the Boston Bruins in Game 1.

And, as was the case for the regular season, the Playoffs will have a different look with the four teams from each division battling to make the Semi-Finals before earning the right to play for the greatest prize in all of sports in the Stanley Cup Final.

While not what we have been used to, this year’s Playoffs will still be a hell of a lot of fun to watch and there will be a plethora of scenarios to keep a eye on, including if the Tampa Bay Lightning can repeat as champions and if the Toronto Maple Leafs can finally get their hands on the Stanley Cup for the first time since 1967.

So, with that in mind, we have called upon some of Puck Prose’s leading writers to pick their winners in each First Round matchup, before selecting their Stanley Cup winner and their Conn Smythe winner. Let’s delve right in…
