3. Brendan Gallagher – Montreal Canadiens

While the NHL officials might not like Brendan Gallagher, his team definitely do. The Canadiens are going to have to make a decision into whether or not they are going to rebuild their team from the ground up. One player they would probably have to move if they are rebuilding is Brendan Gallagher. Gallagher is 29 and is signed through the 2026-27 season at 6.5 million so it is not an easy contract to trade, but anything can happen when a team is trying to compete.

Gallagher has been a name brought up a lot this past season with trade speculation, but his contract seems like he will be in Montreal for a long time – or bought out down the line.

4. Jake DeBrusk – Boston Bruins

Jake DeBrusk has been involved in trade rumors since the beginning of the season. The two sides want to get a trade done to give DeBrusk a fresh start with a new team. While there are definitely some teams that make sense, I think the issue is finding a deal that works for the Bruins in return.

DeBrusk should be traded at the deadline, but hey anything can happen.
