Columbus Blue Jackets

One of the biggest additions of the 2022 offseason is next up on the list here. Johnny Gaudreau has the biggest contract for the Columbus Blue Jackets.

This past offseason the 29-year-old signed a massive deal with the Jackets keeping him with the team through the 2028-29 season. Each year he will make $9.75 million. He has the largest cap hit on the team, but there are a few players close behind him.

Zach Werenski makes $9.583 million a season, very close behind Gaudreau. Plus, Patrick Laine and Jakub Voracek both make north of 8 million as well. The Jackets have a lot of guys making a lot of money, but Gaudreau is at the top.

Seeing how Gaudreau does this upcoming season with the Blue Jackets will be interesting. Last season with the Calgary Flames he registered 40 goals and had 75 assists with one of the best lines in hockey.
