The NHL is the best league in the world. It has the most parity and anything can happen on any given night. It is incredibly fun to watch on a daily basis. The teams in this league are absolutely incredible and give it their all in every game.
It also appears that we are entering a golden era of the game as there is more talent out there than there ever has been. The gap between the second-best player in the league and the 30th-best player in the league isn’t as wide as it was even five years ago.
With studs in the league like Connor McDavid, Auston Matthews, and Jack Eichel taking over the league in their mid-20s, there are still studs like Sidney Crosby, Alexander Ovechkin, and Evgeni Malkin dominating in their 30s. It is an absolute pleasure to watch.
Even the guys that are just blooming this year or last year are incredible. Kids like Nico Hischier, Cale Makar, Jack Hughes, Tage Thompson, and Matty Beniers are becoming incredible stars in the game. Now that November is over, we are starting to see the league take shape a bit more.
