After a dominating performance by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the opening game of the first round, they will look to put an exclamation mark in the series by going 2-0 in tonight’s game versus the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The Toronto Maple Leafs, however, will look to regain their confidence and perhaps pull out a win in their column that will get the fans back into the series after the blowout loss to the Lightning in game one.

The top guns for the Tampa Bay Lightning came out strong with most of the core recording at least a point in game one of this best of 7 series, while three core members of the Toronto Maple Leafs were held off the sheet.

The Tampa Bay Lightning will be looking to add to their series lead against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

With the Lightning firing on all cylinders and coming out strong in the opening game, it is not hard to imagine what steps they will take to go back to Tampa with a commanding lead in the series, but, the Toronto Maple Leafs are still a threat to contend against, with plenty of depth that will allow them to get back into the game.

Tampa’s excellent goaltending and dominant forechecking have the Leaf’s team scrambling for answers and to say that the Toronto Maple Leafs will not come out strong is by far an underestimation.
