A lot of National Hockey League teams have extremely famous fans. Of course, a team like the Los Angeles Kings is going to have a few more because of the nature of their location. The stars come to show their support a lot in that arena.

Amongst the most famous Kings fans in the world is Will Ferrell. Of course, Ferrell is known for being an extremely funny actor and comedian.

It is also clear that he likes sports because he has been in multiple sports movies in his career. He is also a frequent visitor to see his favorite teams play. He was front and center for game three against the Edmonton Oilers.

Ferrell went all out too. He had a NASCAR flag-style black and white checkered pattern painted on his face for this one. Of course, that black and white pattern matches his Kings.

Legendary actor Will Ferrell was perfect for the Los Angeles Kings on Friday.

Hockey fans might remember David Puddy, the famous Seinfeld character that painted his face to support the New Jersey Devils. Will Ferrell had those types of vibes as he attended this one.

He was in for a good one here too. The Kings went up 1-0 which had to be fun for him. He did have to see his team deal with some adversity though as Connor McDavid scored two goals 100 seconds apart to give the Oilers a 2-1 lead.

That struggle only lasted for 18 seconds though as Ferrell’s Kings got it tied back up quickly. Then, he had to head home happy based on what happened next.

In overtime, Trevor Moore scored to give the Kings a 3-2 victory and a 2-1 series lead. This is the second time that the Kings won in overtime.

The goal was met with some controversy as there was a lengthy review for a missed stoppage of play right before it happened. Will Ferrell had to be happy that the call on the ice stood and the goal counted for the win.
