The Toronto Maple Leafs are coming off a huge series win, and it has become more evident now that the team is more confident and relaxed to play throughout the next series.

The Florida Panthers are coming off a red-hot finish to a playoff series that could give them an edge in this series, however, the Toronto Maple Leafs are a team that could be viewed as the feared club in the 2023 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Both teams have that definite resilience that provides more grit and stamina to their gameplays. Also, both teams have managed to strategically figure out their opponent’s weaknesses to help them advance passed the first round of play.

The Maple Leafs will look to continue their dominant play against the Panthers.

How will the Florida Panthers look?

Starting with the Florida Panthers, as I observed the games, the Panthers were the aggressive team as opposed to the Boston Bruins on the forecheck.

The Panthers were sharp offensively, providing each other with chances to get shots toward the net or deliver goal-scoring passes, which was quite dominant in my opinion.

The Florida Panthers are coming off a strong elimination game against an incredibly talented team. Concerning Florida’s gameplay, and considering they are the team that is the underdog, it will be motivated even more during this series.

With the help of the organization’s fans, it will be a wild ride for the club.

How the Toronto Maple Leafs will look?

For the Toronto Maple Leafs, this is the best team the organization has assembled since the 1999 Stanley Cup Playoffs, for two or more reasons. This provides the Leafs with an ample amount of chemistry, complemented by the coaching ability, put together by the GM Kyle Dubas.

The chemistry among the team has quite a simple formula: go to the net with the puck if you can or find the open man. The stick-to-stick passing of the Leafs players has become more potent, and the deflections in front of the net have given the Toronto Maple Leafs more scoring.

They’ve also gotten scoring from their depth players to help the core five players.

The main aspect for this team advancing to the second round was the incredible patience they showed against the Tampa Bay Lightning. What that means is that they did not let the team’s aggressiveness, along with physicality get to them during scrums.
