The NHL is a much better place when the Detroit Red Wings are a great team

For a long time, the Detroit Red Wings were a model franchise in the National Hockey League. They made the playoffs for 25 straight years from the 1990-91 season to the 2015-16 season. A lot of legends passed through HockeyTown during that time.

They captured a few Stanley Cups along the way too which is always the main goal. The league is more fun when a historic team like this is always in the mix.

They haven’t made the playoffs since that remarkable streak ended but they are looking to change that this year. Detroit has certainly been missed on the playoffs over the years and it is just about time to have them back in.

It is a team off to a good start. We mentioned DeBrincat’s hot start already. Well, other studs like Lucas Raymond, Moritz Seider, and Dylan Larkin are all on fire as well so that needs to continue. Patrick Kane knows how to keep it going for a whole year so he will certainly help them.

Getting the Wings back to the playoffs should be Kane’s number-one priority. He isn’t the best player on the team but he is the most experienced. It is awesome to have them back in the race again.
