As the NHL season is underway, you need a team you can root for even if their bandwagon is growing. Well, you are in luck, because here are three teams you can hop on the bandwagon and ride it all the way to the playoffs or longer.

Carolina Hurricanes

The boys from Raleigh are just fun to watch, with plenty of goal scorers, with Seth Jarvis leading the way with 9 points. Along with forever captain Jordan Staal and Sebastian Aho, there are plenty of players to choose from to root for. The Canes even have a young goaltender in Brandon Bussi, who has a GAA of under 2; use that stat to impress your friends.

If that doesn't sell you, they have the most unique uniforms in the league, whether it's the Storm grey jerseys or the brand new white jerseys with bright red numbers on the back. The Canes have been favorites to win the East for the past several years, with a fiery coach to boot, making them favorites come spring.

Utah Mammoth

Want a mostly new team that you can join from the ground floor? Then say hello to the Utah Mammoth! Formerly the Utah Hockey Club, this team relocated from Arizona two years ago and is building a new hockey culture in Utah. They acquired a JJ Peterka this past offseason, and with Clayton Keller and Logan Cooley, you can watch this young team grow into a good team.

While they may not be on the level of a Colorado or Edmonton, the team's identity is pretty cool, because who doesn't love a mammoth? You can even root for the ice age rivalry they have with the Nashville Predators, even if it was just created on social media this year. Overall, the Mammoth is a young hockey club in a city starting to embrace the good old hockey game!

Detroit Red Wings

Three words: Detroit vs Everybody! If there is a slogan that defines a city, it is this statement, and with their fast start, the Red Wings are looking to make a comeback. After a few years of rebuilding, things are looking up for the boys in red and white. Dylan Larkin has 11 points and is making a case to be on the USA roster come Olympic time in February. Other goal scorers in Patrick Kane and Alex DeBrincat (when he is healthy) are fueling this city that hasn't seen a playoff game in a while. The goaltending has been good with Cam Talbot having a great start with a 932 save percentage and a 1.78 GAA. Throw in its 100th season, and you've got a young, hungry hockey team that wants to reestablish that Hockeytown is back.

So there are three teams you can jump on the bandwagon for this start to the season, so get filling out those bandwagon forms.
