The NHL Playoffs begin on April 19th as two of the first games in this seasons playoffs will kick things off. Blues at Jets and Avalanche at Stars. The race to four wins each round for a total of 16 wins to get the Stanley Cup starts.
Carolina Hurricanes: Hurricanes need 16 wins for Lord Stanley, they play their first game against the Devils on April 20th with home ice advantage.
Colorado Avalanche: The Avalanche visit the Stars for their first game on April 19th at 8:30 PM ET. Nathan MacKinnon is their leading goal scorer this season with 32. The Avalanche need four wins to advance to the next round and 16 wins to get the Cup.
Dallas Stars: The Stars get home ice advantage on the 19th against the Avalanche at 8:30 PM ET. Jason Robertson is their leading goalscorer with 35. The Stars need four wins to advance to the next round and 16 wins to get the cup.
Edmonton Oilers: The Oilers need to get 16 wins for cup, they had 15 last season... Their game one isn't scheduled until April 21st, where they will be visiting the Kings.
Florida Panthers: Panthers need 16 wins for the cup. They did it last year and look to be back-to-back champions this season. Their first game against the Lightning for the Battle of Florida for round one will have to wait until Tuesday, April 22nd.
Los Angeles Kings: The Kings need 16 wins for the cup. They will look to avenge themselves for their fourth straight year of round one against the Oilers with game one kicking things off on Monday night, April 21st.
Minnesota Wild: The Wild need 16 wins to get the cup, they're looking a bit like underdogs here as they're WC1 and will face off against the Knights on April 20th for Game 1.
Montreal Canadiens: The Canadiens need 16 wins for the cup. They just squeezed into the playoffs but we will see how they kick things off for their first game against the Capitals on Monday, April 21st.
New Jersey Devils: The Devils need 16 wins to win the Stanley Cup. On April 20th, they will visit Carolina for their first game.
Ottawa Senators: The Senators need 16 wins for the cup. The highly anticipated Battle of Ontario will kick off on April 20th.
St. Louis Blues: Blues will face the Jets in the first round with Game 1 starting at 6:00 PM ET on April 19th. Jordan Kyrou is their leading goal scorer this season with 36. Blues need 4 wins to advance to the next round and 16 wins to get the cup currently.
Tampa Bay Lightning: The Lightning need 16 wins to get the cup. The Battle of Florida is scheduled to start on Tuesday night, April 22nd.
Toronto Maple Leafs: The Leafs need 16 wins to get the cup. Leafs fans have a history of saying 'this is our year' and this year they are looking strong as they look to get four wins over the Senators in the Battle of Ontario with their opening game tomorrow night, April 20th.
Vegas Golden Knights: The Knights have 16 wins to go for the cup. On April 20th, they will host the Wild for their first game of Round 1.
Washington Capitals: The Capitals need 16 wins for the cup, last year they made playoffs but didn't get one win, they've turned things around this season and are looking hot as they will host the Canadiens Monday night, April 21st, for Game 1.
Winnipeg Jets: The Jets will host the Blues for Game 1 tonight, April 19th, at 6:00 PM ET, Kyle Connor is their leading goal scorer this season with 41. The Jets need 4 wins to advance to the next round and 16 wins to get the cup right now.
