Michigan State vs Notre Dame

Michigan State is visiting Notre Dame looking to extend their Big Ten lead

Michigan State is heading to Indiana to take on Notre Dame. Both games, Friday and Saturday, will take place at Compton Family Ice Arena.

Michigan State is a top ten team as they are ranked at number seven. Their goaltender, Detroit Red Wings draft pick Trey Augustine, is one of the potential NHL players that you can watch in this game.

The Spartans are currently leading the Big Ten conference in points. They are 17-6-3 overall and 11-3-2 within the conference.

Notre Dame, however, is not a bad team either. They are ranked 20th in the country and sit in fourth place in the Big Ten. They are 13-11-2 overall with a 7-7-2 record within the conference.

This game provides a chance for the Spartans to extend their lead in the conference and show the world how good they are. A dominating performance could increase their place in the overall rankings which is already high.

If Notre Dame were to have a good showing against this good Michigan State team, they might turn some heads as well. They are right on the bubble this year so this would go a long way for them. Making the tournament might be hard for them but this is a good chance to get closer.
