The Boston Bruins own the Toronto Maple Leafs and it has been proven

The Boston Bruins beat the Toronto Maple Leafs in game seven for the fourth time in the last 11 years. They got it done in 2013, 2018, 2019, and now 2024.

It has been a remarkable run of dominance for Boston over one of their great original six rivals. Now, Boston will move on to play the Florida Panthers.

Boston blew a 3-1 series lead to Florida in 2023 so they will be looking to get their revenge in this series.

The Bruins never have to worry about this stuff with the Leafs. They can't lose to them at TD Garden in game seven.

There really isn't a valid reason why. The only thing that may be the correct answer is the fact that Boston has elite players making a lot less money so their depth is better.

Boston is also just overall smarter with their draft picks, strategy, and overall play. Jim Montgomery saved his job with the Boston Bruins with the way he coached this game-seven victory.

Will the Maple Leafs ever overcome the Bruins? Don't count on it any time soon. The Leafs have a lot of issues to address if they want to do that.

With the teams being in the Atlantic Division together, they will probably get a chance or two again really soon.
