The Seattle Kraken appears to be a seller at the 2024 NHL Trade Deadline. They are 26-23-11 right now which is only good for 63 points. They trail the Nashville Predators (the final wild card spot) by 9 points.

On Monday, Kraken head coach Dave Hakstol announced that Alexander Wennberg would not be available on Monday night against the Calgary Flames for trade-related reasons.

That means there has to be a deal being worked out. The identity of the team trying to get him is unknown. There could be more than one team interested which is another good reason to hold him out of games until he is moved.

There are a few teams that would make a good fit for him. These are the three that could be the best:

The Boston Bruins are a great fit for a forward that could help them

The Boston Bruins need help down the middle. They could consider making a trade with the Seattle Kraken to land Alexander Wennberg. He is a good center that may help them down the stretch.

Boston is certainly going to be in the playoffs but they have some holes in their lineup. Without Patrice Bergeron and David Krejci, some obvious holes needed filling.

Wennberg has nine goals and 16 assists for 25 points in 60 games played. He isn't a star or anything like that but he is a bottom-six forward that could boost up some other Bruins players.

If they were to make a deal like this, they'd still probably love to add another big-time center via a trade. With Charlie Coyle and Pavel Zacha in the mix, they could all of a sudden have a deep group of centers if they are smart.
