Jordan Eberle is someone that the Seattle Kraken might move on from.
The Seattle Kraken are in an interesting spot this trade deadline. Only sitting a few points out of the second wild-card spot, they could choose to keep the team together and make a push for the playoffs.
Given Joey Daccord's play in the net, he could steal a series for the Kraken and help them advance a round. However, although not impossible, it is highly unlikely. The Kraken are listening to trade offers on some of their pending free agents.
Jordan Eberle is a leader on this team that would be a tough loss for Seattle. Although that may be true, the return for Eberle could be too much to pass up as a contending team would be willing to throw multiple assets at the pending free agent to bolster their top six.
At a cap hit of 5.5 million dollars, Seattle could look to retain salary to maximize the value of Eberle in a trade that could bring back a first-round pick and more.
The obvious fit for Eberle is his former team in the Edmonton Oilers who are desperately looking to add a forward within their top six. Eberle, who spent his first seven seasons with the team, would be a natural fit for the Oilers in their hopes for a deep playoff run.
