Game Seven of the Stanley Cup Final is extra special this year

It is here. Game Seven of the 2024 Stanley Cup Final between the Florida Panthers and Edmonton Oilers may be one of the most anticipated games in the history of the league.

The Panthers took a 3-0 series lead which made it seem like they were going to win the Cup with ease. Following that came the stuff of legends. Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers got back into the series and now it is tied at three.

McDavid did a lot of the heavy lifting in games four and five. In Game Six, however, McDavid didn't even have a point and the Oilers still found a way to win 5-1. It was an incredible game for everyone in their lineup.

Now, the Panthers will either avoid the biggest collapse in the history of the Stanley Cup Final or the Edmonton Oilers will pull off the greatest hockey comeback ever. It is true theatre.

The Stanley Cup Final is going to game seven with a lot on the line

Connor McDavid is already one of those legendary players that this league has seen. When you think of guys like Wayne Gretzky, Bobby Orr, Gordie Howe, Mario Lemieux, and Sidney Crosby, McDavid is right there with them now.

If his first Stanley Cup victory comes in this type of fashion, he will add to an already incredible legacy. You can expect him to leave it all on the line in this one.

The same can be said for all of the elite players on both teams. Everybody wants to win this thing so bad. Everybody on both sides also knows how the series reached this point which adds to the drama.

There were a lot of incredible moments during the regular season and playoffs. Things that make it feel like the greatest NHL season of all time. The way this Stanley Cup Final is going makes it feel even more special.

Will the Cup return to Canada or with the Panthers finally get it done? Get ready because this game is going to be legendary.
