Everybody loves good social media engagement from pro hockey teams. Seeing these teams come out and have fun with things is always encouraging. We saw that on display this week from the Rockford Ice Hogs.

They decided to make a tweet dedicated to pop icon Taylor Swift and used their rivalry with the Chicago Wolves.

The Chicago Wolves sent a card to the Rockford Ice Hogs with a famous "friendship bracelet". The card was filled with a nice message using Taylor Swift song titles and references to get the point across.

These two teams enjoy their rivalry with each other and are now using Taylor Swift to show it off using social media. It's a fun way to get through the long summer without hockey.

Being rivals from the same state, it is built in for the games to be extra exciting. Bringing it to the online sphere with a pop culture reference is always fun.

Their first game of the season against each other comes on November 2nd in Rockford. That is sure to be a big matchup this season.

Rockford's first visit to Rosemont will come on November 17th and it is their second match of the season. By then, we are sure to know how good each team is.

For Rockford, they have Calder Cup hopes. They could be a very good team if Kyle Davidson (GM of the Chicago Blackhawks) decides that is a priority within the organization.

As for the Chicago Wolves, they are back to being an NHL affiliate after one year away. They are the AHL team for the Carolina Hurricanes. Based on that fact, you'd have to assume that they are going to be a great team too.

It wouldn't be shocking if these rivals each made it to the playoffs and were able to have another big series against one another.

If that were to happen, these two Anti-Heroes would be far from Taylor Swift pals online. For now, it is fun to see teams enjoying themselves through social media.
