Taylor Hall Rejoined The New Jersey Devils For The First Time After Being Sidelined For Knee Surgery. Hall Returned Ahead Of Schedule And Picked Up Right Where He Left Off With Good Solid Play.

Forward Taylor Hall has finally returned to play since sustaining a knee injury. Hall was sidelined and received surgery to repair his torn meniscus in his left knee and was expected to be sidelined for at least three-to-four weeks.

Hall wanted to assure that his return would be a good one and that he wouldn’t return too soon. Therefore, the forward took four straight days of practice with the team before getting back into the game.

Now, Hall is back and he’s ready to get back in the game. His speedy recovery is a relief for the Devils, who were 2-6 during Hall’s eight-game absence. Despite the Devils’ loss in Hall’s return against the Chicago Blackhawks, the team put forward good play.

Hall looked solid in his return, more solid than one would imagine. There won’t be a rough start for Hall as he gets back in the game, he seems ready to pick up right where he left off.

Taylor Hall Standards

Hall had 12 points ( 5 G, 7 A) prior to his absence and was one of the Devils’ biggest producers. The forward has been a positive addition since joining the Devils during the off-season. He has brought excellent production and solid play since donning his new red jersey.

Hall currently has five goals in 15 games and he still has a lot of time to grab more. The natural goal-scorer has found a home in New Jersey and has, on few occasions, discussed how much he feels like he belongs with the team.

Hall has been a standout performer for the Devils and has been a big contributor to the wins the Devils have grabbed so far this season.

Hall has been a big boost for the Devils. His play, whether he grabs a goal or not, is solid and skilled, which makes the difference on the ice. His ice-presence exceeds his age in skill and provides for a powerful force in the rink.

Hall is a player with impressive determination and he has a good habit of performing for his team when it’s needed. He has been a positive addition to the Devils and the boost in offensive power will continue to be beneficial.

Back In The Game

Hall might not have registered any points against the Chicago Blackhawks but he did come back with a performance that would make one question his injury. He registered three hits, three blocks and two, really good, shots on goal.

Despite the knee surgery Hall had solid legs during the match; he was skating well and with good speed in a way that made his injury a thing of the past.

More from New Jersey Devils

Though the Devils fell to the Blackhawks 4-3 in overtime, New Jersey did a lot of good on the ice. Chicago is no easy match but the Devils were able to hold their own in the rink. Forward Travis Zajac‘s hat trick was an impressive feat and kept the Devils in the game.

Despite the loss, the Devils seem ready to regroup and get back in the game. The return of Hall will have a positive effect on the team moving forward.

Hall is ready to pick up his play, as evident in the strong play he displayed in his return. The Devils will feel confident with this forward back in the lineup.
