NHL Fantasy Hockey Waiver Wire: Letting You Know Which Players You Should Add/Drop Heading Into Week 23, Complete Injury Update, Players of the Week, and More!

Welcome back to our weekly NHL fantasy hockey waiver wire. Anaheim‘s players are blowing up in stock, so definitely take a chance on them. Also go out and pick up the hot rookies as they will produce much better next season!

Like always, we’re here to help you gain the most out of your hockey pool. Most NHL fantasy pools consist of a weekly total before being reset. So, it’s best to maximize your scoring during that week to either stay in the lead or try to climb the standings. The toughest part is always releasing players, but if you’re in a pool that isn’t very active, you can take those chances.

If you’re in a pool that everyone is involved in daily, at least keep your star players even if they’re going through a cold streak, so they’re not picked up when you release them.

Top Forward of the Week: Brad Marchand (BOS) – (4GP, 5G, 4A, 9PTS, +2)

Brad Marchand is a tough player to acquire, and given the season he’s had this year makes him much harder to get. However, if you own Marchand, do not make any deals for him as he’s most likely going to continue this play for the rest of the year and into the playoffs.

Top Defenseman of the Week: Jakob Chychrun (ARI) – (4GP, 2G, 3A, 5PTS, +3)

Jakob Chychrun isn’t that hot of a commodity but after a very solid week his stock has risen significantly, so if you need an extra defensive scorer there’s no harm in taking a shot on him. Because he’s most likely in your free agent pool and won’t cost you anything for a little bit of offense.

Top Goalie of the Week: Sergei Bobrovsky (CBJ) – (3GP, 3W, .924SV%, 2.33GAA, 0SO)

Sergei Bobrovsky is like Marchand, he’s a top notch player which means he’s probably on someone else’s team. And also like Marchand will be tough to acquire granted the year he has had. But if you have enough offensive pieces use one as a tool for Bobrovsky as he and the rest of the Blue Jackets will only get better.
