Too Many Men has steadily grown as FanSided’s home for NHL coverage dating back to when the site was first launched back in 2009. Regardless of your favorite team, if the sport of hockey is something you are passionate about from coast to coast – then we have a spot for you. The constant has always been our goal here on site: to give you folks, our readers, the very best NHL discussion that we possibly can.

The 2015-2016 season is primed with the start of free agency, development camps, and then the transition to training camp and the preseason. Who in the NHL will stand out this season, what teams are poised to have the best years, the most improved year – who might dud out early? We want you on board with us before the regular season starts – so apply today.
Consider yourself a passionate fan? Read us or other hockey sites with regularity and ever wonder if you should write about the NHL too? Maybe you’re just stumbling across us for the first time and you like what you see. Maybe your family and friends have told you to start writing about the team. We are looking to add to our staff here on site and this could be your chance to grab a stick and join the team.
Too Many Men is currently looking to add contributing writers to their staff, so whatever you are passionate about when it comes to NHL hockey – we want you on our team.
Expectations
We like to let our staff write about the aspects of the team they are most passionate about. There’s room for those interested in covering the minor leagues. Maybe you’re more of a transaction junkie and you want to talk about the impact a new signing or trade could have. Or even just chipping in on series previews, roundtable discussions on staff about how the team should approach the offseason or whether a big move is needed to get them back on top, or helping with a number of other potential story ideas there could be a place for you here on the team.

Contributing Writers are asked to contribute 1-2 posts per week. We’ll always welcome more frequent contributions than that, but we won’t require it. We want you to write about what your passionate about, what motivates you to be a fan of the NHL.
We know that for most this is mostly a hobby and something you do for the love of it. That’s why we do it too, as most of us have families, full-time careers, and/or school to balance into our lives as well (there’s room for things besides hockey, right?). This is an opportunity to join a staff of writers here who are just simply passionate about the NHL and hockey in general and want to continue to reach the rest of this great fan base.
Want to join us?
Applying is very easy. Head on over and complete an application. It’ll give you a chance to share some insight into your background (prior online writing experience is not necessary but always encouraged) and let us know why you’d be a fit on site, so give it your best. We’ll be in touch from there.
If you have any questions about the roles, please feel free to email kyle.franzoni@fansided.com or timothy.redinger@fansided.com with any questions.
