Goaltenders

Tristan Jarry: A+

Tristan Jarry has been the Pittsburgh Penguins saving grace. He has a case for being the Penguins team MVP to this point. He has played at an all-star caliber level. Jim Rutherford was correct in believing Jarry had starting netminder potential. If Jarry can maintain this level of play for the remainder of the season, the Penguins will have an interesting decision on their hands in regards to who they should commit to between the pipes.

Matt Murray: D

Matt Murray was costing the Penguins games and points throughout the first quarter of the season. He has not looked like himself and has been one of the worst goalies in the league from a numbers standpoint. Obviously, Murray is better than this. We shall see if and when he gets the opportunity to win back the starting goalie job.
