Do you love the Philadelphia Flyers and driving on ice at about five miles per hour? Then do I have the ride for you!

As I drive my Toyota Corolla, my New Jersey Devils license plate is the only sign of my intense fandom. When I park it near Prudential Center some cars are decked out with team flags but there has got to be a better way. How can I tell my fellow drivers on the road that I’m the alpha hockey fan? Well if you’re a Philadelphia Flyers fan, you might be in luck.

A 2005 model Zamboni adorned with the famous Flyers logo recently appeared on eBay for the low, low price of $2,200. No word on if it was used on Wells Fargo Center ice, or one of the Flyers affiliate rinks.

For the Flyers faithful you can’t find a better vehicle to take for a joyride. Okay, maybe the Lamborghini the Vegas Golden Knights team seems to share might be a cooler ride. If I’m being honest the New Jersey Devils fan in me wants to take a sledgehammer to it.

The Flyers do have an in-arena rage room. This would make the perfect addition if my Devils ever wanted to build their own. Post it up at Prudential Center and I’ll give them a blank check to take a few swings at it. Plenty of New York Rangers and Pittsburgh Penguins fans would probably line up, as well.

If you can find a way to prove this was used at their home arena it might be one of the most unusual hockey finds for any collector. If it was used elsewhere, it becomes slightly less cool. Unfortunately, the eBay listing doesn’t specify. In fact, the listing itself is very short on details. Let’s take a quick look.

"Used Philadelphia Flyers Zamboni 500 with 5995 orig hours, not sure if it runs or not may need simple repair or just a battery charge. Perfect to park in driveway to piss neighbors off or just a great conversion piece . 4 cyl , runs on propane. AS IS ……………… No warranty… all sales final …………."

It is a great conversation piece if the conversation starts with “why’d you waste money on a 10-year-old Zamboni?” As for getting your neighbors angry part, I can think of plenty of cheaper ways to do, like blasting Nickelback at four AM. No doubt there’s someone out there that would spend money on that, but if you’re going to buy it un-ironically it would look much better in your hockey-loving man cave instead of your driveway.

So if you’re a Philadelphia Flyers fan who has everything the choice is yours. You can either spend $2,200 on season tickets or a used Zamboni. If I were you, I’d go with the season tickets. Bet at your own risk.
