NHL Picks And Predictions: Predators looking to get back in win column

There is a lot of action tonight throughout the NHL, with six games to watch and talk about, fans will definitely want to tune in. For starters, the Florida Panthers will look to continue their dominant run, this time facing off against the Nashville Predators who will be looking for a win to avoid losing five straight.
There also is an important game tonight for the Toronto Maple Leafs. After losing to the Montreal Canadiens yesterday they have a chance to get back in the win column with a game against the short-handed Columbus Blue Jackets. Let’s dive in with some predictions.
NHL Picks and Predictions Tonight:
St. Louis Blues @ Philadelphia Flyers
- Pick: St. Louis Blues
- Prediction: The Blues are led by Vladimir Tarasenko in points, the Flyers are led by Claude Giroux in the same category. Considering where the Flyers are at, with the trade rumors revolving around even their best player Claude Giroux, I think this is an easy win for the Blues 4-1.
Minnesota Wild @ Ottawa Senators
- Pick: Minnesota Wild
- Prediction: Kirill Kaprizov has 62 points on the season. This should be a fun game tonight between one team trying to create a bump between them and the competition, and another team trying to be relevant again. This should be an easy road win for the Wild and should help create some room in the standings as the Blues are just one point behind having played two more games. My final prediction for this one is 3-1 Wild.
San Jose Sharks @ Anaheim Ducks
- Pick: Anaheim Ducks
- Prediction: The San Jose Sharks have lost six straight games. Meanwhile the Ducks also haven’t been great, but at least they find themselves closer to the playoffs than the Sharks do. This Ducks team needs a win even worse than the 2-5-3 Sharks in their last ten games. I think this should be an easy offensive win for the Ducks winning the game 5-2.
Nashville Predators @ Florida Panthers
- Pick: Nashville Predators
- Prediction: The Panthers are one of the hottest teams in the NHL right now winning eight of their last 10 games. Someone is going to have to stop them and the Nashville Predators with elite goaltender Juuse Saros would be the perfect pick. I think this will be a really good close game to watch with a final of 3-2 after trading back and forth goals.
Toronto Maple Leafs @ Columbus Blue Jackets
Pick: Toronto Maple Leafs
Prediction: The Maple Leafs come to Columbus having lost their last two games. They lost last night to the Montreal Canadiens and lost against the St. Louis Blues on Saturday. I think this will be a nice bounce-back effort for the Leafs winning the game 6-3. With the Blue Jackets having a little bit of injury trouble in the net, anything can happen tonight.

New York Islanders @ Seattle Kraken
- Pick: New York Islanders
- Prediction: The Kraken will continue their first season with yet another loss against the New York Islanders. While neither one of these teams is perfect, I think the Islanders are still the favorite in this one and will win 3-1. This is a second of back-to-back games for the Kraken who lost to Vancouver on Monday.
