8. Toronto Maple Leafs

The Toronto Maple Leafs are still one of the favorites to win the Cup. While they lost their first game against the Canadiens, they won their other matchups finding a way to get things done.

7. New York Rangers

Wow the Rangers looked good in their first game of the season against the Tampa Bay Lightning. With Igor Shesterkin in the net and this team’s star lineup, there is no telling how far this team can go.

6. St. Louis Blues

The Blues only played one game so far this season, but it was a nice win to start the year. Tarasenko, the player once demanding a trade out of St. Louis, had two goals in their first game.
