The Vegas Golden Knights sit on top of the Pacific Division with a 14-4-1 record. Vegas leading the division is no surprise, but how they remain there may be. Center Jack Eichel leads the way offensively with 10 goals and 12 assists for 22 points in 19 games. However, the entire roster is not only contributing offensively but contributing in other ways as well.

Vegas Golden Knights Getting Contributions Throughout Lineup

The entire roster, except for five players including the two goaltenders, has produced at least one point this season. This kind of production shows the incredible depth the Vegas Golden Knights have this season, hoping for a lengthy playoff push.

The Golden Knights are third in goals scored with 68 goals scored but are also fifth in goals against with 47. The offense is scary but the defense can hold its own as well. The balanced scoring goes through the forwards and defensemen as one can see below.

The forward scoring includes Eichel, Chandler Stephenson (6-12-18), Mark Stone (7-8-15), Reilly Smith (9-5-14), Jonathan Marchessault (7-7-14), William Karlsson (4-9-13), Nicolas Roy (4-7-11), William Carrier (4-3-7), Phil Kessel (3-4-7), and Keegan Kolesar (3-1-4).

The defense, while not as offensively productive as the forwards, still has the horses to contribute. Defenseman Alex Pietrangelo leads the defense with two goals and 15 assists for 17 points in 19 games, while Shea Theodore (3-11-14) and Brayden McNabb (0-5-5) have provided some offense.

Depth scoring is good for any hockey team but they are also contributing in other ways to make this team successful. Stephenson has a 63.3 face-off winning percentage. Pietrangelo, McNabb, and Theodore have combined for 211 blocked shots and 185 hits in 19 games. The totals for the Golden Knights season are 355 blocked shots and 455 hits.

The Vegas Golden Knights would not be as successful if it were not for the play of goaltender Logan Thompson, who is 9-3 with a .925 save percentage and a goals-against average of 2.27. Thompson has been unbelievable this season, playing well between the pipes. A consideration for the Vezina Trophy this season, he does not look to be slowing down anytime soon. Thompson will be heavily counted on to keep this team rolling, with or without offensive production on the other end.
