Milan Lucic

At only 26-years-old Lucic still has a lot to offer a new team, but as the Bruins have become nothing more than average it’s time for the loie long Bruin to move on. The Bruins faithful may not like the idea of life with out Lucic as his hard noised style combines well with the legacy of the Bruins.

It seems that the hard-hitting cheap shot style that has become lined with Milan Lucic may be catching up with him. His numbers are off and other than two seasons (2010-2011, 2011-2012) he has been just an average player for Boston.

As far as a trade goes; Lucic is worth a second or high third round pick depending on what player/prospect s come back to Boston. But, for the Bruins as well as Lucic it’s time to move on. Maybe a change of scenery will spark something in a guy who carries a $6,000,000 cap hit and will be a UFA at the end of the 2015-2016 season.

If I’m Boston I start helping him pack his bags.
